One of the World’s most popular social networking sites, Twitter, has come up with its first ever online gaming application- a brilliant one at that! TwitterINGO has been born and has been developed by Definition 6, an interactive marketing agency based in Atlanta, USA.
The free desktop application uses keywords rather than numbers being called; the 25 keywords given to the player comes from a pool of keywords developed from ‘tweets’ that are posted by those that the player is following.
As the bingo application is free, unfortunately you won’t be playing for cash rather the honour of having the ‘I won TwitterINGO’ badge which can be placed either on your twitter profile or on other social networking sites.
Currently the game is only played once per week at 8pm each Tuesday evening.
The marketing agency commented, “Definition 6 looks forward to providing all Twitter fans and users with another engaging way to enjoy the micro-blogging site and to interact with their social networking community”.
